A Solo Song
In transit is a voyage through the mind of Ella, a confused woman who lost all perception of where and who she is. Desperate to re-learn her past, she engages us into a caricaturesque world full of strange characters where she unlocks the secrets of her broken mind whilst forced to confront the hardest moment of her life.
In Transit is a tragicomical dark tale full of captured moments of sheer beauty layered alongside nuggets of sweet and well-observed comedy.A strong life-affirming story. One hour, One actor, 27 characters in a highly physical one-woman show accompanied by an award-winning soundtrack performed live by musicians occupying one side of the stage that forms Ella’s world.
Devised and Performed by Florence Leon, Co-Directed by Graham Shackell, live original music by Rhys Lovell, Cello by William Calderbank, Double Bass by Simon Diamond, Production Mike Simmonds, Lighting design by James Morris.
